In order to get the best of your treatment and to prevent the loss of track of your aligners, you have to wear them every day about 22 hours/day. Every aligners set have to be worn for 1-2 week. Please refer to your doctor for more information.

Yes! You can remove your aligners while eating. It’s very advisable to remove your aligners while drinking, except for cool  or tepid water, to prevent damaging your teeth. We also discourage tobacco use while wearing aligners, as it might discolor your aligners.

The best way for cleaning your aligners is to use special aligners-cleaning tablets and a tooth brush, then rinsing them in a warm water. Alternatively, you can use a soap and brush for cleaning. It’s very important to brush your teeth after each meal and before wearing your aligners.

If you lose your aligner or it has been broken, please contact your AL-SECRET® doctor immediately! Your doctor will probably tell you to start wearing your last set or next set of aligners immediately.

One of the reasons why AL-SECRET® system is superior to many others is that it can treat even difficult tooth movements. In order for the aligners to be able achieve certain difficult tooth movements, it has to grip one or more teeth, through out small tooth colored composite ‘’attachments’’. The attachments will be temporarily bonded by your doctor. These bumps are where the aligner grips the attachments on your teeth. When the treatment is finished, your doctor will remove these attachments from your teeth.
